Italian super sports car marque, Lamborghini, has recently opened its new in-house design center to honor four heads of design, two decades of stylistic evolution, and one design language. This new design center, located at the company’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, is a celebration of Lamborghini’s rich design history and its commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive design.

The four heads of design that are being honored at this new center are Marcello Gandini, Bertone, Giugiaro, and Bertone. These legendary designers have each played a significant role in shaping the iconic and distinctive look of Lamborghini’s super sports cars. From the iconic Miura to the modern Aventador, each of these designers has left their mark on Lamborghini’s design language.

The new design center is a testament to Lamborghini’s dedication to design excellence and innovation. It showcases the evolution of Lamborghini’s design language over the past two decades, from the sharp and angular lines of the Diablo to the more organic and aerodynamic shapes of the Huracan and Aventador. The center also highlights the brand’s use of cutting-edge technology and materials in its designs, such as carbon fiber and advanced aerodynamics.

One of the main attractions of the design center is the “Centro Stile” (Style Center) where Lamborghini’s designers work their magic. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest design software and tools, allowing the designers to bring their ideas to life. The center also includes a virtual reality room, where designers can immerse themselves in a 3D environment to fine-tune their designs.

The design center also features a “Collezione Automobili Lamborghini” (Lamborghini Automobile Collection) which showcases some of the brand’s most iconic and rare models. This collection serves as a source of inspiration for the designers and a reminder of the brand’s rich heritage.

Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said, “The new design center is a tribute to the passion and creativity of our designers, who have brought to life some of the most iconic and beautiful cars in the world. It is also a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in design.”

The opening of this new design center marks an important milestone for Lamborghini, as the brand celebrates its 50th anniversary. It is a symbol of the brand’s evolution and its dedication to pushing the boundaries of design and technology. The center also serves as a platform for the brand to showcase its future designs and concepts, giving a glimpse into what we can expect from Lamborghini in the years to come.

The design center is not only a celebration of Lamborghini’s past and present, but it also looks towards the future. The brand’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility is reflected in the design center’s energy-efficient and eco-friendly features. This includes a solar panel system that provides energy for the entire facility.

In addition to the design center, Lamborghini has also launched a new book titled “Lamborghini Design Legend” to commemorate the brand’s 50th anniversary. The book takes readers on a journey through Lamborghini’s design history, showcasing the brand’s most iconic models and the stories behind their creation.

The new in-house design center for Lamborghini is a testament to the brand’s passion for design, innovation, and excellence. It is a celebration of the past, present, and future of Lamborghini’s iconic and distinctive design language. With this new center, the brand continues to push the boundaries of automotive design and set new standards for the industry.
